deposits
security deposit:

A refundable security deposit of R2 500 is required at the time of booking.
This deposit will be held to cover any potential damages to the property or its contents during the guest's stay.
inventory check:

On the guest's arrival, an inventory list will be presented for sign-off, documenting the condition of all furniture, appliances, and other items in the unit.

upon check-out, a thorough inspection of the unit will be conducted to ensure no damage has occurred, and all items are in
the same condition as at check-in.
deposit refund process

If no damages are found, the full deposit will be refunded to the guest within 48 (forty-eight) hours after check-out.

In case of any damage, the cost of repair or replacement will be deducted from the deposit. an itemized report of the damage and associated costs will be provided to the guest before the remaining deposit (if applicable) is refunded.

please note that the deposit serves as a security measure and does not cap the guest's liability. If the cost of damage exceeds the deposit amount, the guest will be responsible for covering the additional costs.
damaged or missing items

if an item from the inventory is found to be missing or damaged, the guest will be responsible for the replacement or repair costs. the guest will be informed of the cost, and this will be deducted from the security deposit.

in the event that the damage exceeds the deposit amount, the guest will be liable for any additional costs.
disputes

​ if the guest disagrees with the findings of the inventory check or the amount being deducted from the deposit, a dispute resolution process will be available. guests can submit any concerns in writing within seven days after receiving the report.
standard cleaning

our team is scheduled to clean every three days at no extra cost. However, if additional cleaning is required by the guest an additional fee per day is required for standard cleaning.
cleaning fees on departure

the deposit does not cover the standard cleaning fee, if additional cleaning is required due to excessive dirt or mess, additional charges may be deducted from the security deposit.
