We were at The Boathouse for R&R and some fishing at a quiet and scenic spot. We got everything we could have hoped for. The location is to die for. TK and his Team did a great job of helping us relax and enjoy ourselves. Somehow present when we need them but never imposing. The fishing was very good considering it was winter. We will return for sure.

Breathtaking, peaceful, beautifull. Words cannot describe this beautiful home. Helpers made you feel comfortable and took care of us. My dog was also free to be himself as the place was completely fenced off, except the waters edge, which he would not go near. Pool was sparkling clean.

Peace & Tranquility at Its Best – Right on the Water’s Edge! A perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The setting is serene, with breathtaking views right on the water’s edge. Our room was beautifully appointed, the staff were warm and attentive, and no request was too much trouble. We left feeling refreshed and already can’t wait to return — and it will be soon!

From the first moment we made contact we felt this was a different AirBnB experience. The communication was fast, friendly and super easy to follow. The way they use tech and various platforms to make things easy was very refreshing! When we arrived the staff made an amazing first impression and we felt at home and looked after. This felt more like a hotel than an AirBnB but without it feeling forced. The location is stunning and made for a very much needed few days away from and out of Johannesburg - even though it's only an hour's drive! You don't need to leave your house to feel your away from the hustle and bustle as your are ON the river. That said, there are many little places to go and sit outside and relax and the bench on the end of the jetty is simply perfect for sunrise and sunsets. Great experience and we will 100% be back!
