Housekeeping Policy
Housekeeping is provided every three days for guests. If additional cleaning is required, it can be arranged for an extra fee. For group bookings across all three units, an additional housekeeping fee will apply.

Guest Arrangements in units
We strictly enforce guest limits for each unit to ensure the optimal use and sustainability of our facilities.

Luxury Villa

Maximum occupancy: 8 adults or 6 adults and up to 4 to 5 children (depending on age and size)
Configuration: 3 ensuite king-size bedrooms plus sleeper couch options in the lounge area

 

Bungalow Boathouse

Maximum occupancy: 4 adults or 2 adults and up to 2 to 3 children (depending on age and size)
Configuration: 1 king-size bed plus one sleeper couch

Garden Cottage Unit

Maximum occupancy: 6 adults or 4 adults and up to 4 children
Configuration: 2 ensuite king-size bedrooms plus two sleeper couch options
 

No Visitors Allowed

Only guests registered on the booking are permitted to enter or occupy the property. The maximum number of occupants is strictly limited to the number stated in the booking. If four guests are registered, no additional persons may visit, stay overnight, or use the property or its facilities at any time. This includes family, friends, or any other non-registered persons. Any exception requires prior written approval from Management. Breach of this clause constitutes a material violation of the booking terms and may result in immediate termination of the stay without refund.

Fees:
A refundable deposit fee of R2500 may apply to our deposit policies.
 

Safety & Security:
 

• Your Safety is Our Priority: The property is equipped with security features, including on-site presence, alert beams, and CCTV cameras. However, these measures are supplementary, and the alarm system is inactive overnight.

• Responsibility: While we take precautions to ensure a safe environment, guests are responsible for their security and belongings during their stay. We recommend securing valuables and exercising standard safety precautions.

• Liability: By booking, you acknowledge that the host is not liable for any incidents arising from negligence or unforeseen circumstances.

Food delivery services
Due to our location on a farm plot, certain delivery services such as Mr D and Checkers Sixty60 are unfortunately unavailable. However, Uber Eats is available for food deliveries in the area.
Any special arrangements must be requested with management prior to check-in.
 

Pool Safety
Guests acknowledge that the property features an open, unfenced swimming pool without a safety net. As such, all children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times when near or in the pool area. The property owners and management assume no responsibility or liability for any accidents, injuries, or incidents that may occur due to lack of supervision or non-compliance with this policy.

By booking and staying at the property, guests accept full responsibility for ensuring the safety of all children in their party, adults take personal responsibility for their safety and agree to indemnify the property owners against any claims arising from pool-related incidents

Property Fencing
The property is fenced on three sides, with one side open to the river.

Host Availability:
Our hosts are available to assist you whenever needed. 
 

Right to Enforce

If the management discovers unauthorised visitors on the property, we reserve the right to

• Ask the unauthorised visitors to leave immediately, and/or

• Require the registered guest(s) to vacate the premises with no refund.

By confirming your reservation with Cloudrift Vaal River Getaway (236 Stocchi Avenue, Vaalview), you acknowledge and agree to abide by the Terms and Conditions as set out in this document.
